holga - hallway blues

the holga is my favorite camera, and yes it is made out of plastic. it may have a fixed shutter + aperture but what it lacks in technicality makes up for the final result, a dreamy surreal image.

hello friends and dear watchers!

wow it's been a while since i last updated any of my shit here.. anyways, big big thanks to all those who still added me to their watch list and left comments on my works even though my page was quite inactive for some time. really means a lot guys and keep em comin!

so sorry if i don't add you back, it's just that i hate to admit it but i am actually a film snob. which means i only try to look at pictures that are taken using film, so sometimes i disregard shots despite its beauty because it's taken with a digital camera. unless i really really like the shot.

two of my cameras are currently under the repair of mang dong in hidalgo quiapo, the yashica 124-g for CLA (cleaning, lubrication and alignment) and also has the moist problem since the previous owner cleaned the camera like crazy and didn't use proper cleaning solutions. also under repair is my asahi pentax spotmatic whose sweet pristine condition lens i can't use because of a mirror-lockup problem. so there goes my weekly allowance, going to the cost for repairing them cameras.
